i'm happy that i bought today's New Paper. haha. here are some weird news that filled my thoughts.

facebook group, of 400 people, named 'Singapore sucks!' .  was kind of taken aback when i read this. it is a 'thread that urges members to use the site to bent their frustrations about singapore and singaporeans.' as written. i did only a glance on the 2-page article because i was tired. its basically bad remarks on singaporeans' attitude in the corporate world and how 'low-class' singaporeans are in terms of conducting themselves. its actually an Aussie who was quoted in the article. another part of it was just ranting how singlish...is singlish. the aussie just couldn't stand the dialects. i just felt that she was a little to harsh on what she wrote in the thread. everyone knows singapore is just 40 years independent with world war 2 still freshly haunting the oldies at times. the 60's and 70's were the ones who braved through the recovery process, the 30's and 40's were the ones who could, technically, start to enjoy this thing called Education even if its not as established as now. so by far, not being able to speak English like it was supposed to be is fairly natural, forget about PCK. next article please.!

'Mum dies in fire searching for son'   title speaks it all. i wonder how the son felt.

here comes the interesting ones.

'shot in the head, then she makes tea'
ok ok. Dr Patrick Pritchard ' There is a space in the brain where a a missile could pass without doing any major damage.

'SHOT IN THE CHEST, BRA STOPS BULLET'
title is interesting enough. not only stops the bullet, it was deflected off! buy underwire.

'shot pierces helmet but misses head'
lazy to write
